Sullivan Owen

I began my working career in visual merchandising and store environment design for fashion companies after studying Fine Arts in college. I spent my years in stores studying customers and understanding the impact furnishings, lighting, scent, sound and color have on how people feel in a space. After training with some of New York’s most prestigious floral and event designers, I opened my studio in Philadelphia in 2011. I was named the Best Florist in Philadelphia just six months later.

Listening to my clients describe how they want to feel on their wedding day as they celebrate with the people most important to them is where I draw my first inspiration from. I approach every event as a unique creation, eschewing trends to create something never seen before. Each design my team and I create for a client should feel like it belongs to only them. 

My designs reflect my passion for creating art, my uncanny sense of color and my eye for unexpected details that become lasting memories. My work has been recognized by numerous publications for ingenuity, creativity and it’s ability to inspire.  I was named one of Martha Stewart Top 25 Florists, Harper's Bazaar's best wedding florists and I was included in the Rizzoli Books Publication "In Full Flower" profiling the new wave of floral designers, changing the industry.

I feel a special connection to my clients, I consider it a tremendous privilege to get to make my living doing something that I love and I never take it for granted.
