Today's wedding is a definite departure from the usual wedding inspiration. The bride Adriene is a floral designer here at Sullivan Owen and really challenged me to create something completely new. You might remember this "Sneak Peek" post from a few weeks ago where we showed the design process for Adriene's Leap Day wedding. Adriene left her bouquet completely up to me (no pressure). Fortunately I knew her floral faves so I got it right. This is by far my favorite bouquet I've ever made and it was also one of the most difficult, I had to make it backwards in a mirror! It was totally worth it because I knew how much Adriene loved it as soon as she saw it. I'm so happy that I was able to participate in this awesome day for such a great couple. A million congratulations to Adriene & Kyle.

Since it was a small crowd who didn't really know each other Adriene made Shrinky Dink name tags for all of us, they were cute and super helpful actually.
During a slight pause before the ceremony, Kyle entertained the crowd with tricks and good humor.
Everyone enjoyed champagne before heading to El Vez for lunch
New rule, always get an awesome photo of the groom with the bouquet
Everyone grabbed umbrellas and explored the gardens despite the rain
Adriene's BFF and Makeup Artist made her this amazing cake!
