Did you make it to Borrowed in Baltimore? If you didn't you surely missed out on a really creative and fun bridal event. I can't even call it a bridal show because it's so far beyond just a show. We were super honored to be the floral partner for Borrowed and we worked on all those fun trailers and promotional shoots for the past year gearing up for the big day with Birdhouse Productions and Jillian McGrath Photography. You can check them out here, here and here. One of the best parts of it all is that I now consider these talented ladies friends. When the day finally arrived on April 1, it was so exciting. We got to see old vendor friends and meet new ones as well as tons of great couples from all over the place.
I knew what I wanted our booth to look like long ago. I've been obsessing over copper, rose and pink. I made a wild and lush bridal bouquet and used one of my custom stands to display it.
My centerpiece was 6 foot antique feed trough in a rough dark copper color. I filled it to bursting with fresh pink blooms, red grapes and dark plum colored accents. We were fortunate to have access to Maggpie's great farm table and chairs which were the perfect canvas for my designs. If you love the farm table look, you need to get in touch with them. The tables are gorgeous, handmade and super reasonably priced for rental.
I used this event as my opportunity to unveil a gorgeous new prop I designed, the fireplace. I think this would make a stunning ceremony backdrop or centerpiece of a cocktail hour. What do you think?
